World Cup 2026 host countries: USA, Canada and Mexico
For the first time, three countries share hosting duties: the United States, Canada and Mexico.
- United States — hosting the bulk of matches, including the final near New York
- Mexico — becomes the first country to host or co-host the World Cup three times (1970, 1986, 2026), with the opener at the Estadio Azteca
- Canada — co-hosts for the first time, with matches in Toronto and Vancouver
Across the three nations, 16 cities will stage the 104 matches. All three host teams qualified automatically.
