World Cup 2026 final: date and venue

The 2026 World Cup final will be played on Sunday 19 July 2026 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just outside New York City.

The venue

MetLife Stadium is one of the largest venues at the tournament, seating around 82,000. It usually hosts the NFL's Giants and Jets, and will stage the World Cup's biggest night.

The road there

To reach it, a team must win four knockout rounds after the group stage: the Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-final and semi-final. Play it all out on the predictor and crown your champion.
